GENERAL QUESTIONS

Call us crazy, but we believe you shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to find a comfortable mattress with high quality components. We streamlined the business model and cut out anything that didn’t contribute directly to you having the Best Night of Your Life. Now you can have an amazing quality mattress at a quarter of the cost.

The KISS Mattress is 10 inches thick and matches the following standard mattress dimensions.
Twin: 38″ x 75″ x 10″
TwinXL: 38″ x 80″ x 10″
Full: 53″ x 75″ x 10″
Queen: 60″ x 80″ x 10″
King: 76″ x 80″ x 10″
Cal-King: 72″ x 84″ x 10″

Kiss mattresses are designed to be compatible with most options such as a slatted frame, platform frame, box spring, hardwood floor or synthetic carpeted floor.

Twin – Best for average height adults and children. This size typically fits trundle and bunk beds.
Twin XL – Recommended for taller youth and adults. This size is commonly seen in college dorms. Two Twin-XL side by side will equal a King size.
Full – A spacious, comfortable sleeping space for a single adult, but a tight sleeping space for two.
Queen – The most popular size for two sleepers.
King – The most space available width-wise. Great for two sleepers that like to spread out, or for sleeping with kids or pets.
California King – The most space available length-wise. Great for two sleepers, or for sleeping with kids or pets.

The short answer is no. We like platform or slatted frames because they have a great aesthetic. It isn’t necessary to purchase a box spring if you don’t already have one, but you can use one if you’d like to.

Our mattress is tested by CertiPur, a 3rd party foam certifier, to be free from known harmful chemicals and gasses. More specifically, our mattress is tested to be free from ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates, and low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million). For more information, check out CertiPur’s website here.

Don’t machine wash or dry the mattress cover; it may shrink. Instead, unzip and remove the cover and spot clean with a mild detergent – gently dabbing the cover rather than rubbing it. Make sure the cleaned area is 100% dry before replacing the cover or placing sheets and blankets back on the mattress. Should you wish to replace your cover, you may purchase a replacement cover at reduced cost. Email us. We are eager to help you.

Position your mattress on top of your bed frame, and carefully cut the outside layer plastic off your mattress using scissors. There are a few layers of plastic, but you’ll know when you start to get to the end. Roll the mattress out, then cut off the remaining plastic and watch it expand. Let it expand 2-3 hours and your mattress will be ready for sleep.

When you order your Kiss Mattress we will configure it with either the latex (supportive) layer on the top or the float foam (plush) layer on the top. If after you've slept on it for a couple of weeks you think you want to try another configuration, simply unzip the cover and swap the top two laters of the bed for a whole new feel. Some people are surprised to find they enjoy the ability to switch the feel of their mattress based on a recent injury or house guest arrival.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

You can, but you should always use sheets (and ideally a protector too). You’ll get the most out of your Kiss mattress by washing or changing your sheets weekly.

Your mattress gets more airflow when it is used with a bed frame that lifts it off the floor. This is especially important if you live in a humid climate or have a moist surface where the mattress could develop mildew.

You won’t need to air the mattress.

No need to flip your KISS Mattress. The mattress has been designed to have a specific top and bottom. You can however, unzip your mattress and flip the top layer to change the material closest to your sleep surface. Doing this will change the feel of the mattress based on whether you are sleeping on the memory foam layer or the latex layer.
